August 5 is a significant day to all the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, but it was more special to our two jubilarians- Sr. Assumptina Fernandes and Sr. Celine Pinto. It was indeed a joyful day where the relatives, Sisters priests and the members of the Salesian Family gathered at Auxilium Caranzalem to praise God for the Golden and Silver Jubilees of our two Sisters.
The auspicious day started with the Holy Eucharist which was celebrated by Fr. Henry Fernandes, the brother of Sr. Assumptina and concelebrated by other priests along with Fr. Stanny Pinto, the brother of Sr. Celine Pinto.
The teaching and non-teaching staff along with a few students staged a meaningful programme. A sumptuous meal was served to the guests and the jubilarians joyfully thanked the guests especially the community members for the presence and their prayers.
