The Teachers’ Day programme on September 06, 2021 was an enthralling and fun filled event. The theme for the event “Teachers, Sowers of hope” was an apt choice. Sr. Shiny Alphonse, the headmistress welcomed all the teachers in their colorfully attired sarees who made all the effort to be present despite all the challenges posed by the pandemic.
Our Manager, Sr. Teresa Vettickal was lavish in her praise for all the extra effort put in by our teachers in rendering on line education to our kids. Adapting to the umpteen challenges posed by covid was highlighted in her speech. As a token of our love and appreciation gifts were distributed to all.
The staff then moved to the TV room where light snacks were served and after which we witnessed through online, some very interesting programmes prepared by our lovely children. This was followed by some enjoyable games like stealing the partner, musical chair etc. Sumptuous lunch was followed. It was indeed a very memorable and enjoyable day off for our happy band of teachers.
