Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival that is annually celebrated across the country to mark the birth of Lord Ganesha. To join our Hindu brethren in celebrating the festival Auxilium Convent High School Vadodara conducted various competitions for the students of grade I – V for both the English and Gujarati mediums. The students actively participated in these competitions and showcased their talents.
The competitions were
Grade I – III Drawing
Grade IV Best out of Waste Ganapati
Grade V Ganapati T-shirt painting.
It was an Eco- Friendly initiative to create, in our students, the awareness that we need to do our part in keeping our Common Home a place where every living creature finds its home. A short video was prepared to brief the students about the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi.
We thank our Principal Sr. Philomena Lobo for giving us this opportunity to create in students the urgent need to take care of our Earth through these competitions.
