The Auxilium Primary School, Pansora  organized an Interfaith  Ecology session with the theme “Save the Earth and Save Life” on 25th September 2021. The staff, students of Auxilium Primary School and the boarders of Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralaya were the participants. The Speakers of the Day were Adv. Mrs. Prima Patel, Mr. Taufik Vohra and Pastor Rakesh Macwan. All the three speakers in their speeches quoted their sacred scriptures: The Bhagvad Gita, The Quran and The Bible.  Quoting the Bhagvad Gita to describe the connection between creation and human beings Mrs. Prima said: “God is present in his creation and his beauty is manifested in all that we see around. While watering a tree one is not just watering it but anointing it.” Mr. Taufik explained how The Quran describes creation. Islam teaches that human beings are a unique life form that was created by Allah in a special way, with unique gifts and abilities unlike any other: a soul and conscience, knowledge, and free will.” Thus, human beings have a fundamental attachment to the earth. Human being is made superior to all other creation so that we may take care of the creation. He spoke on the importance of taking care of water, air and cleanliness that promote well-being of human beings and the creation and the use of natural and man-made resources in a responsible manner.

Mr. Rakesh Macwan brought about the beautiful creation story from the Bible how human beings are created from the earth and this connectivity with the earth will make human beings healthy, happy and free. “God breathed his life into human being and entrusted him with the custody of the entire creation to care for it. But human being’s sin and greed for money and comfort has destroyed the beautiful earth created by God generating a hazardous environment for growth of the animals, plants and human beings.” The speakers exhorted us to always remember our great responsibility to take care of our creation so that purpose for which God created the universe be realised.   All of them spoke well about Mother Earth that imparted excellent knowledge to our children and motivated them to care for our Common Home ‘The Earth’.
