On 26th November, 2021, the staff and students of Auxilium Convent High School, Lonavala celebrated Children’s Day with great joy and enthusiasm. The teachers and non- teaching staff organised a colourful and entertaining program for the children with prayer, speech, song, dances and an entertaining skit. Sr. Caroline Menezes, our Animator, spoke to the students about how they are sent by God to fulfill a special mission and that each of them are unique in their own little way. The children were encouraged to make the best of all that is offered to them and thus make the world they live in, a better place to live in.
The students were then divided into different classes and were busy involved in various class-wise activities. Alongside, the students of the lower classes had an online celebration of Children’s’ Day with their respective class teachers. The children enjoyed themselves and at the same time, were able to present their talents in an entertaining way.
