“Christmas is a time of giving and sharing our joys and gifts.”
On 27th December 2021, the communities of Don Bosco parish, STI, Maria Vihar ad SHTC got together to celebrate this special Christmas with the Deon Bosco Shelter boys at Nashik. The parish youth also joined us for the same. The evening celebration began at 6.30 pm with games, carols, fun, and laughter. The Novices of STI and SHTC conducted various games which the children and the youth enjoyed to the full.
At the end Fr. Roshan Gonsalves thanked all the communities for the presence and participation. The Shelter boys had a good time and all of us received prizes and gifts. Inorder to make the celebration more magnificent, we had a festive meal all together, after which there was music and dance.
The Christmas celebration continued as the community of SHTC organized a short celebration for the boarders of Maria Vihar. The Novices performed a short skit, with a Christmas message. Later, games were animated, which was full of Christmas spirit and enthusiasm. Sr. Salome D’Souza gave an enriching message and also prizes for the winners and participants. Refreshment was also served.
It was indeed a joyful and memorable celebration.
