On 26th December 2017, Our Lady of Dolours Parish organized a Christmas Dhamaka for all the poor children of our parish. Sr. Anita Tairipascu accompanied 120 children of the Mazzarello NCP group and along with 4 volunteers attended the programme. They were warmly welcomed by Fathers, teachers, organizers and the youth group. At the start they were gathered in the hall and the welcome dance was performed by Mazzarello NCP. The children were given coupons for snacks and for games. There were a variety of stall games and the children enjoyed themselves. A delicious meal was served and each child received stationary articles and soaps.
It was an enjoyable time for the poor children and for the parishioners who experienced the joy of sharing.
28th December 2017 the church celebrated the day dedicated to the Holy Innocents. Sr. Anita and a volunteer organized the day for nearly 120 MYC NCP children. She warmly welcomed them and organized some games for them. They watched a film on Jesus which they enjoyed and came to know more about Christ. At the end each received a key chain and sweets.
