Today the 26th January is a red-letter day in the Indian history.  India has become a republic over 69 years because on this day the Constitution of India came into force and India became a totally republican unit. Auxilium Baroda made it a day of remembrance as both the mediums English and Gujarati, came together to hoist our National flag and to salute our Mother India. The programme began at 7.30 am as the chief guest Dr. Anughar was welcomed with a round of thunderous applause in our midst.

The prayer service highlighting the Preamble of the Constitution of India aroused in us our duty towards making India a sovereign, republic and democratic nation.

The March past paraded by the students of Std. VIII to Std. XI made Auxilium proud. The chanting of different patriotic songs portrayed the love and respect of its people to the nation. The dances described the innumerable joy contained in the hearts of every Indian giving a feeling of pride and honour of being part of the Indian soil.

The speeches delivered spoke of the heroism of our forefathers and encouraged the present generation to play their part in the preservation of peace and freedom in our country.
