FEAST OF DON BOSCO
“RUN, JUMP, SHOUT BUT DO NOT SIN “On first of February we celebrated the feast of our Founder and Father DON BOSCO in the school as well as with our parishioners and deanery priests and religious. During the school programme the students enacted the famous 9- year dream of DON BOSCO in a creative musical form. The animator, Sr.Monica Shera gave the message on this auspicious day and to keep up the festal mood a piece of cake was distributed to all the students.
In the evening at 6.30 p.m. we had a festive mass. It was celebrated by Fr. Arvin S.D.B and Fr. Jaison Pinto S.D.B of Ghatapraba. Many priests of Khanapur deanery concelebrated the Eucharist. Many religious sisters as well as the parishioners and the youth were present for the celebration.Fr. Arvin spoke about the importance pillars of our educative system and our life as Salesian sisters and fathers.
WORKER’S DAY CELEBRATION
On the 3rd we celebrated WORKER’S DAY. In the afternoon our nine support staff members were present in the hall for the celebration along with the community sisters. We started the programme with the prayer animated by Sr. Monica Shera, later creative games were conducted for them. Prizes were distributed to the winners and we shared a meal together. We thanked them for all the help that we receive from them and prayed that St. Joseph the patron of the workers bless them and their families.
