On 22nd January 2018 we celebrated the feast of our Father and Founder Don Bosco. We had the Holy Eucharist celebrated by Fr. Patrick Dias SDB the Rector of Don Bosco Youth Services, Shirva. The Parish priest Fr. Lawrence D’Souza was also present. We were glad to have our Salesian Cooperators and the educating community members too. In his homily Fr. Patrick stressed about the qualities of Don Bosco, his love towards children and the youth and the good he did to the youth. He could accomplish it only with the help of God. His trust in God and Mother Mary was so great that without a penny he could do wonders.
On this day our Salesian co-operators renewed their promises and Mr. Oliver Suthari made his first promise as a Salesian Cooperator. One of our boarders, Ms. Vasundari received Jesus for the first time.
It was a great joy for all of us to come together and celebrate the feast of our father and founder.
