The long awaited day finally arrived. Our dearest Mother General, Mother Yvonne Reungoat, arrived at , Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport Mumbai at 2.45 pm. Mother was warmly welcomed by our Provincial Sr. Ritha Dora Thomas, Provincial Economer Sr. Rita D’Souza, Provincial Secretary Sr. Supriya Noronha and a good number of Sisters. 
At Provincial House, Auxilium Centre, Bandra, Mother was welcomed by young people, Sisters, teachers and the support staff, was greeted in traditional Indian style and escorted to the Chapel.
The ‘Veni Creator’ was solemnly sung and a hymn to Our Blessed Mother was intoned. Mother lit a candle in front of the statue of Mary and thanked Mary for her powerful help. 
She joined the Sisters for tea and shared a light moment with the Sisters.
