On 16th to 30th of April 2018, we had the summer club for the children of our locality, with the theme, “Play, Learn and Grow together.” The total number the participants of the summer club were 26. 
It was indeed an enriching and thrilling experience for the animators as well as for the children too. Every day the prayer moment and a good thought for the day helped the children to begin well. The warm up sessions, dance, songs and games kept alive the spirit of enthusiasm and helped each child to take part actively. The activities were innovative, where children were able to learn new skills of art and craft and could make many other things.
The Computer and English classes were highly appreciated by the children and they did enjoy learning something new. There were also many competitions held to help the children to spot out their talents and thus win many prizes which could bring a lot of happiness to them. Throughout the Summer Club the point system made every child to take active and enthusiastic participation in every activity that was conducted by the animator. 
On 28th of April, we had the closing celebration of the Summer Club, where the children thanked the sisters for organizing such a club, put up a short cultural programme and this was followed by the prize distribution by Sr. Teresa Castellino and Sr. Maria Achandil. The parents of the children were invited for the programme and they were happy to see their children’s performance.
As we say the best is yet to come, so the best part of the Summer Club was the outing on 30th of April, we together with all the summer club children went for the outing to Empress Garden in Pune. It was a thrilling moment and the children enjoyed a lot and had fun together as they played and went around enjoying the beauty of the garden. This moment of togetherness brought a lot of happiness and joy. Thus we had the conclusion of our summer club 2018. We thank God for his blessings and we are grateful to our community and all those who collaborated for the summer club.
