The conclusion of the Marian month

Our Blessed Mother was given due honour and praises as we concluded the Marian month in Auxilium-Ahmednagar.

All the students, staff, non-teaching staff, helpers and sisters together honoured Mary under the title of “Mary – the one who accompanies us”. Each group showed their love and affection for our Blessed Mother through creative assemblies, skits, attractive charts, decorative classrooms, notice boards, hymns, and songs. Sr. Latha Arogiaswamy, the Headmistress addressed the entire gathering to fervently honour Mary and trust in this mother who can make the impossible, possible, only if we believe.

Just as our Marian month began with a solemn procession, inviting mother Mary to our school, it also concluded with an equally grand prayer service, thanking her for the innumerable graces and blessings received from her hands during this month. Sr. Teresa Palthara, our Manager addressed the gathering and assured each one that Mary is the one who can free every person from the various bondages in our lives.

Independence day celebration

Freedom is one of the most prized blessings from God. On the occasion of the 72nd Independence Day, we at Auxilium Convent, Ahmednagar raised our hearts in thanksgiving for the gift of our Motherland India and for the most precious gift of our Mother, Mary, the Queen and Mother of heaven and of earth.

The day was graced by the auspicious presence of Major Ravan Salve who has been a Major in the Indian Army and served our Motherland for 32 glorious years. Honoured with the Gallantry award, he has actively participated in the Operation Rakshak and Operation Parakram. Our Chief Guest was solemnly accompanied by our Manager, Sr. Teresa Plathara, Principal, Sr. Latha Arogiaswamy, the guards of honour and the School band.

The programme was packed with patriotic songs, dances, speeches in English, Marathi, and Hindi, and a street play which portrayed the real-life situation of today’s India. We pray that our Country be blest with peace and good will now and always.
