AMAR # 517 INDEPENDENCE DAY AND YOUTH GATHERING AT PUNE

“15th August 2018”  a great day in Auxilium Welfare Centre, Pune as all the students in our various courses got together to celebrate Independence Day and enjoy a full day of togetherness.

Rev. Sr. Gracy Thomas (Animator of the Centre) cut the ribbon and then the flag was hoisted by Mr. Tony Manuel (Cartoonist) followed by a short patriotic programme by the students.

Rev. Sr. Roseline Pereira (VTC coordinator of Mumbai Province) then took over and the day began with much gusto, fun, and frolic. Rev. Fr. Rajesh Bansode (Principal of the St. Joseph High School)   with his inspiring talk on the importance of the Indian constitution how it affects the youth of today.

After lunch, there was a cultural programme which ended at 4:00 p.m. As the young people left our campus a little token was given to them. The success of the programme was due to the cooperation and generosity of our staff and benefactors.
