“Teacher – the second Parent”
We the Pushpanjali Technical Institute- Dakor celebrated the long-awaited day. “Teacher – the second Parent” was the theme for the day. We gave a warmly welcomed the Sisters and the teachers with aarati and with flowers.
The programme began by praying for the teachers and thanking God for their presence in our life. All the ITI students showed their love and gratitude towards teachers through dances and songs. After the programme, the students conducted fun filled games for teachers and had a lot of fun and laughter. All the teachers enjoyed themselves and had a wonderful time. The teachers thanked each student for being the part of their life.
The animator Sr. Hilda Braganza gave the message on richest person in the world – Bill Gates. She said that teacher who took interest in him and brought out the best and Bill Gates seeing the interest of his teacher became open to guide. So let us be open to teachers who are there to guide us. Sr. Urvashi thanked each and every teacher for their dedicated service and love for the institute. She even thanked the students for cooperation and beautiful programme. Last we all thanked God for our own life.
Girl Child Day
on the 5th of September, the children of Pushpanjali celebrated the Girl Child Day in the boarding. In the evening at 7.00 p.m. the children brought the Sisters in the procession with flags. We had a prayer moment conducted by the leaders. This was followed by a cultural programme and the Sisters and the teacher cut the cake. They appreciated us and read the Thanksgiving message. In the end, Sr.Hilda gave the message and altogether we had agape.
