The Annual Recollection cum Marian Pilgrimage of the SALFAM held on 2nd September 2018, comprising of Salesian Co-operators, Past Pupils and ADMA, was skilfully co-ordinated by the Auxilium- Pali Hill Unit, as in the past years. There were 98 eager participants in all. They were warmly welcomed by Sr. Catherine Fernandes, FMA Province Delegate for the Salesian Family. Mrs. Jacinta D’Souza, Province Co-ordinator, extended a hearty welcome to Fr. Joe Braganza Sdb, the animator for the recollection on the theme, An Inward Journey, and who also celebrated the Eucharist in a unique way reinforcing the theme with apt video clippings, which drove home many inspiring messages.
After a good lunch and some cheerful moments, the group walked prayerfully to venerate our Blessed Mother Mary on the Mount. We spent some time in the Basilica singing her praises and praying for several needs.
Over a cup of hot tea and biscuits, the participants thanked the local Delegate Sr. Judy Gaikwad and her team for the fine day.
