The community of Aashish Bhavan celebrated ‘Thank you day’ with love and joy on the 16th January 2019. The day began with the Holy Eucharist at 7.00 am and was celebrated by Fr Peter Rodriguez, the Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Parish Lonavla.
The programmes both in the school and in the house were prepared by Sr. Mary Anthony and Sr. Vaneeta Kristi. Each sector thanked the Sisters for all the good done at Kune. Our theme was ‘Thanks is an echo from our hearts, the spontaneous leap of the heart to its source.’
Thanks is an acknowledgment of the blessing, big and small graces received from the Lord. Who is so very generous with his love and shares with every single creature on this earth, He inspires us to thank him and everyone for everything, He has given us a heart that is ready to share each other’s joys and sorrows, to senses the desires, and attends to the needs, offers each other a deep and genuine friendship, This helps always to see what is positive in others, welcomes and values it as a gift from God.
We express our gratitude to God, for every blessing and graces that He showers on us known and unknown,
Gratitude is the gateway to graciousness, the pathway to politeness, the threshold of thoughtfulness and the corner-stone of courtesy
The little angels of our centre were also present for the function and gave a message on gratitude. At the close of the day once again we thanked God for all the graces and blessing on our life’s journey.
