On 28th January 2019 the students of Auxilium Convent High School, Bandra participated in Lead – 2019 seminar organised by Edelweiss, a leading financial services company. Students of 18 schools participated in this seminar which was held at Fountainhead Leadership Centre.
The first session was a very interesting session where each school prepared a Video and presented to the students. Topics covered were as follows:
- Pollution
- Misuse of mobile phones
- Bullying
- Disconnect to connect
- No media hour
- Solar School
- Say no to plastic
- Not in my ocean
- Child Labour
- Ill effects of alcohol
The second session was conducted by Mr. Ketan Gaiwand. He spoke to the students how they can achieve success in life. His session was very encouraging and informative. He said, ‘People do not plan to fail but fail to plan. If you learn from your own mistakes then you are an intelligent person. If you learn from others mistakes then you are a genius. People don’t believe what they see, they only see what they believe. 5 years later what you will be will depend on the books you read and one people you associate. He concluded by saying ‘Success is not what you get, but what you become. Thanks to the team of Edelweiss for conducting this very innovative and educative seminar for students and teachers. This seminar will surely enrich and benefit all who attended this seminar.
