AMAR # 733 Catechetical Day at Aux-Lonavla

Sr. Josephine Fernandes, the animator was warmly welcomed into the basement hall for the Catechetical Day on 12th February 2019. The USM members conducted a prayer service with the Scripture Readings from the various religions of India. Each Class presented the presentations. Most of the students actively participated thus enlightening the staff and the students.

UKG- Pure in heart, Std. I – The creativity of the Parsees, Std. II – The courage of Sikhism, Std. III – Compassion and Humanity, Std. IV – The Indomitability of Judaism (respect), Std. V – Discipline and Fellowship of Islam, Std.VI – Humanity, Std. VII – Non-violence of Jainism, Std. VIII – The Cosmic Solidarity Tribal Religion, Std. IX – The Self Sacrifice and Forgiveness of Christianity.

Religion students from Std. I – Std. IX presented a skit on Holiness.

In her address, Sr. Josephine expressed that she was enlightened by the presentations of the various religions. She invited students to practice the values that had been portrayed. This marked the end of the programme.
