The first Housewise competitions for the year were held in Auxilium High School on the 28th of June 2019. We had handwriting competition for the students of Std V to Std VII. Std V students had to write an essay in English, Std VI students had to write poetry in Konkani and the students of Std VII had to write a story in Hindi. The students of Std VIII had a Caption Contest while the students of Std IX and X had a Poster competition. Some of the topics for the poster and caption contests were: Industrial Revolution, The dream of senior citizens, Gandhian Heritage in modern times, Saving energy…a bright idea, Wind, water, Sun…Energy for a long run, Protection of the Ozone layer, Say no to drugs. In groups and two’s and four’s the students enthusiastically used their creative minds to give their best.
