The Secondary section held their English elocution competition on 23rd July. Std V, VI and VII had two participants per division where they recited poems. Std. VIII, IX, and X delivered speeches on the lives of saints. There were 20 students who delivered speeches. They spoke about saints of India as well as other countries. Three judges were invited to choose the best elocutionists. The students performed well with confidence and poise.
Sr. Theresa Joseph, the animator, who attended the competition, complimented the students for their performance. She also appreciated and thanked the teachers who had prepared the students. The prize winners’ names were announced and certificates were awarded to the winners.
On the same day at 8.30 am we also had the Story Telling Competition for the primary students Mrs. Shilpa Raymond PTA member and Tr. Patricia D’ Souza, the Pre-Primary section supervisor judged the participants. Judges were pleased with the performances of the students.
