On 28th July the tiny tots of Maria Vihar nursery celebrated the environment day in the morning. To mark this day, all the kids and teachers came with a green outfit and brought a sapling with them. The teachers explained to them the importance of growing plants. The kids were very excited to plant the saplings.
In the evening the 4 groups of boarding girls put a programme, showcasing how to save Mother Earth through dance, skit, posters, and speech. The day was concluded with commitments taken up by the boarders for them self to keep Mother Earth safe by saving, water, electricity and using reducing the non-degradable things. At the end Sr. Reshma Nune gave a beautiful message as to how to keep our Earth clean and green.
