AMAR # 898 Aux –Baroda celebrates ‘Independence Day'

“Freedom in mind… Faith in words… Pride in our souls… Let’s salute the nation on this auspicious day”.

Auxilium English and Gujarati Medium celebrated the 73rd Independence Day on 14th August 2019 with great zeal and patriotic fervour. The celebration began with an invocation to the Lord the Almighty followed by various patriotic songs, speeches, and dances to depict our great enthusiasm and love for our nation.

Mrs. Nikita Kaka a ‘Radio Announcer- Vadodara’ was the Chief Guest of the celebration who addressed the students and highlighted the qualities ‘Unity, self- discipline, and truthfulness’. Rev. Sr. Priscilla Travasso our superior explained to the students the importance and significance of the tricolour of our Indian flag. Indeed, it was a day of joy and rejoicing indeed. Let’s all make our India a better place for us to live and experience freedom with peace and unity in diversity. “Jai Hind”.
