17 August is observed as the International Youth Day every year to draw the attention of youth issues worldwide. The USM members had a day’s session on the theme “Youth Ambassadors of Peace” conducted by Fr V. Louis, Finance Director of Pune Diocese. The session focused on the responsibility and the role of youth, being a medium of spreading peace in today’s world. Through powerpoint presentation and game activity, the students learned that peace is losing ground in the current era. There was much interaction among the students and realized that the youth have to be trained to take charge of the nation with an inclusive, broad and lasting vision.
