The 73rd Independence day was celebrated with great patriotic fervour in Auxilium Convent High School in Ahmednagar. The Chief Guest was our own past pupil Mr. Gaurav Misal – a Literature Professor in CSRD. He did the honours of hoisting the National Flag and enlightened the gathering by his noble thoughts, encouraging them to be good, humane and responsible citizens of the Country. Enlightening speeches of the past, present, and future were delivered by the students in English, Marathi, and Hindi. It was a delight to see the tiny tots dancing gracefully to patriotic songs. Among the many items put up, the formation of the pyramid and students’ portrayal of eminent freedom fighters, highlighting the message to respect our freedom at all times were indeed inspiring and motivating.
