AMAR # 944 Aux- Baroda celebrates Teachers’ Day Celebration!

“Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber, and future of an individual. If the people remember me as a good teacher, that will be the biggest honour for me.” A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

On 5th September 2019, Auxilium Baroda English and Gujarati Medium solemnly celebrated Teachers’ Day with great gusto and gaiety. We began our celebration with a meaningful prayer moment with a symbolic offering followed by lighting of the lamp. The students performed a sparkling cultural show to denote their love, respect, acknowledgment, and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development. The cultural programme integrated with songs, dances, and drama. The Sisters also entertained teachers by arranging fun games for them. We indicated that teachers play a vital role in making our pupils’ accountable citizens of tomorrow and wonderful human beings. Teachers are the cornerstone of students’ future and there’s nothing worth enough to gratify them for their selfless service and commitment. All the teachers enjoyed and appreciated the programme. Sr. Priscilla Travasso, the animator and the manager of the school delivered a message thanking all the members of the educating community for their cooperation and selfless service rendered to the Institute. She highlighted in her message that teaching is an art, skill, and vocation through which the teacher can ignite the young minds after the example of Jesus, the Good Master, and Teacher.

Gifts were given to them as a token of our love and appreciation. In the end, a festive meal was served. All the teachers enjoyed the programme.
