We, the Sisters and the candidates at SJTC, Lonavla celebrated the month of August as Marian month to show our love and gratitude to our Heavenly Mother. The entire month was spent in various activities which were conducted group-wise i.e. composing songs on the theme ‘Wedding at Cana’, enactment of Mary’s interventions in the life of the Salesian Saints, the apparitions of Mary, creatively animation of the Holy Rosary, Daily practicing Mary’s virtues, decoration of the statue of Mary in different places.
The last day was something very exciting for each one of us, as it was the Marian Afternoon. Sr. Jacintha Moisan and Sr.Vencila Dimekar had organized a prayer service to begin the Marian Afternoon. This was followed by a number of games. The entire afternoon was full of joy and laughter. With this, we concluded our Marian month promising Mother Mary to be her worthy children.
