On the eve of the Assumption of our Lady, the Animator led the procession with Our Lady`s statue, thus commencing with the Marian month for Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralaya boarders and Sisters. The entire month was full of activities like Grotto making, Rosary making, Quiz competition, singing competition, Acting on mysteries, and practicing the virtues of our Lady every day were the highlights of the month. The children were eager to know more about our Lady through their own experiences which they had during this entire month. Finally, the long-awaited fabulous night was at hand -the Marian night.
On 15th September, the Marian Night commenced with adventure games and followed by Marian Campfire which was conducted by Sr. Prezy. During the Campfire, the children performed programs on Our Lady followed by the Marian games. The games and puzzles were animated by Sr. Anita Dushing. As a token of love from our Lady each of the boarders was given a kit. Thus the evening concluded with thanks and praise to God for the gift of Mary our Mother.
