With the poor and needy and experience much joy within you

“ The fruit of silence is prayer. The fruit of prayer is faith. The fruit of faith is love. The fruit of love is service.” – Mother Teresa.

(Sr. Nayana Vankar  and Sr. Antonette Rebello)  The members of the AYM here community_outreachat Auxilium, Baroda came together to reach out in love and service to the less privileged of our society at Mother Teresa’s Ashram, Baroda on November 19, 2013. They brought along several kinds of eatables, clothes and other love offerings  to share with the inmates of the Ashram. After having visited every ward separately and distributing sweets to everyone we settled down in the basement with all the children. Some games were conducted for them followed by distribution of little prizes for the enthusiastic winners and participants. Each member of the AYM was deeply moved on witnessing the pathetic condition and listening to the history of different cases. It gave them great satisfaction to be able to spend time with the inmates and bring a smile on their lips . After having spent the entire morning in the ashram we finally dispersed, feeling content that we at least tried to be a drop in that great ocean of charity. It was indeed a touching experience for the Auxilium, Baroda, AYM group as a whole and they look forward to reach out in love and service wherever and whenever possible.

  1. I am pleased to know that the AYM group of Auxilium Baroda visited Mother Teresa’s Ashram and brought love, hope and joy to the inmates with their programme. I congratulate the young AYM members for this service which will make them active and responsible citizens.
