Auxilium Benaulim in full Bloom - Children's day

You can count on me like 1,2,3… On the lips of sisters and of teachers of Auxilium Benaulim were these assuring words to the children, “You can count on me like 1, 2,3 and I’ll be there”. The best gift a teacher can give to his/her students is her/his self gift, the assurance of one’s presence and that’s what was expressed on 14th November by the teachers. In Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus says “Let the little children come to me… And so the day began by invoking the blessings of the Lord. During the prayer moment the monitors as representatives of each class carried flowers symbolizing uniqueness, beauty fragrance and meaning. Teachers are those gardeners who nurture these flowers- children with good values helping their students to bloom and spread the fragrance of goodness around them. The prayer moment was followed by a short programme presented by the teachers.

Sr. Elizabeth Coelho, our Headmistress, crowned the day’s celebration giving a short story with a great message, urging the students to spread the fragrance of goodness and good values in the school and in the society making this world a beautiful place.
