The long awaited day dawned as we celebrated 140th Anniversary of the first Missionary Expedition on 11th November 2017 with Triduum highlighting the theme of the day during evening prayer; we thanked God for the intercession of Mary Help of Christians for the missionary identity of our Institute and reflected the Constitution Art.1.
The second day of the Triduum the evening prayer we reflected on the Art.6. We decorated the altar beautifully placed the flex with logo and of the first 6 missionary sisters with their missionary life, they brought the spirit of Mornese across the ocean.
On the third day we had special animated prayers in the morning to keep alive the spirit of our origins that Mother Mazzarello and also prayed for the life and vocation of all the FMA missionaries during adoration service to be missionaries of hope and joy. The vigil service enabled our community to recall the first missionaries who notwithstanding the difficulties went ahead to proclaim the missionary mandate of Jesus: “Go to the whole world”. The symbolic offerings- Bible, Constitutions, Globe, names of the 6 missionary sisters and ship , enabled us to rediscover the missionary fervour of the Institute and to reaffirm our commitment to be missionaries of hope and joy. 
This was followed by Eucharist solemnized by Rev.Fr.Santan Gonzalves Rector of Capuchins of Lower Kasarkod with apt introduction for the occasion. Our educating community, children, helpers, parents were all present to make the occasion memorable. Boarders did their part to read and know about the missionary sisters of our province and each day they prayed and spoke during ‘Goodnight’.
