Children add joy and cheer to our lives. They are the ones for whom we are here. They play an important role in the society. Children are the sweet fragrance from the house of the Lord. Commemorating the birthday of our first President Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru the lover of children on 14th November we celebrated children day with our boarders at Pushpanjali – Dakor. With much enthusiasm we began our programme with a meaningful prayer service guided by Sr. Pricilla imploring god’s blessings on each one of them. This was followed by short entertaining programme. Children were really very happy they enjoyed to the full. Sisters with their initiatives of putting up some items made the children happy. This brought deep joy to the children. Festive meal was served for them. Sr. Sunanda Solanki wished them, saying they are blessing and motivated them with her value based story. It was indeed a remarkable day for us. To add to this celebration on 16th and on 17th November Sr.Elphina had children day celebration with the children of the Government schools of villages namely Jakhed and Vanoti. Sr. Elphina took a Session on rights of the children. She also explained and made them aware of causes of addiction such as drinking, smoking, different kinds of tobacco mixtures. Sr. Sunanda and Sr. Breenel were too present. The rally was taken around the whole village raising the slogans and making the society aware of these things. Few games were conducted for them.
