Dakor celebrates Teachers’ Day!

Teachers’ Day was celebrated on 5th September in Pushpanjali Dakor, Gujarat with the theme ‘Teachers- a Rainbow in the life of the children.’ The Sisters were taken in procession on the beat of timbli (Gujarati folk dance) and aarti. We began with a short prayer asking God’s assistance and praying for all the sisters. It was then followed by a short cultural programme wherein the students conveyed the message that the Sisters guide and protect them, and what position they are today they owe it to the Sisters.These sentiments were expressed by presenting handmade cards with a personal message attached to it.The programme with a ‘Goodnight’ thought given by Sr. Elphina Rodrigues. She explained to them the theme of the day and she thanked the children for their love and care. Later there was a dance wherein all enjoyed the evening.
