On 6th October towards evening, it was raining cats and dogs, in the midst of lighting and thunder the AYM membersof MYC, Wadala conducted Dandiya Raas 2017.
The event began with a prayer service by reading the Scriptural quotations from different religions. The members had invited the Support Staff as Chief guests for the day. It was then followed by the lighting of the lamp by the Support Staff. 
After the prayer service, they invited the mothers of the two of our NIOS students who gave a lead for the Dandiya Raas, and from that moment on the children, youngsters, adults, Sisters danced to their hearts’ content.
It was a joy to see many of our poor children from our locality enjoying and dancing to the beat. To crown it all, ‘golas’ and ‘samosas’ were served to all.
