HOSTEL:
The vibrant young girls of Maria Vihar Youth Center, Nashik, celebrated Diwali with devotion, enthusiasm and excitement. Tastefully decorated, the campus added charm and religious fervor to the atmosphere as the beautiful girls up well. A short prayer moment lifted up the spirit of celebration. Then it was followed by a Rangoli and Mahendicompetition for the girls.As a token of love and appreciation of hard work done for Golden Jubilee of Sr. Margaret Anaswamy we distributed cake and sweets. Celebration of Diwali with Sisters was a first experience for many girls of the hostel.It was a great evening for the girls as they enjoyed few funny games and dance. Indeed it was a colourful day!
NURSERY:
Diwali celebrations were also held for the little angels’ school amidst joy and cheer. Students of Nurseryplaygroup dressed up well.
The kids were given a traditional welcome.They were also informed about the significance of the festival. Decorated in vibrant hues, the school had an ambience of joy and happiness. Teachers made beautiful Rangoli designs, prayed with the kids and after that sweets were distributed to all.
BOARDING:
Diwali was also celebrated with fervour at the boarding. One could see the creative designs made by the girls. The Sisters conducted a prayer service for the boarders.Then followed many games and action songs. To end the day sweets were served to all.
