Heart touching experience!

On 1^st September the Maria Krupa Hostel Girls, Madanthyar had a heart touching experience in the Seon Ashram (A Home for People with Disability). It was an AYM activity which helped them to go out of their way and see the life of the poor and abandoned people.  We went there at 9. 40 a.m. after  spending some time in front of the Eucharistic Lord in prayer in  silence, our girls conducted the prayer moment, praying for those who are staying there and taking care of them. The inmates there are brought from the railway station, bus stand, from road side and some are left in the hospital. We were all together 52 in number. We met the disabled and orphan children; adults and youngsters, there were nearly 400 hundred in all. They were very happy to see us, our girls spent time with them talking to them asking them.  It was indeed a heart touching experience for the girls, an experience to remember. Before leaving, the founder of the Seon Ashram asked us to view a video of the Ashram’s beginning. All of us appreciated their sacrifices and dedicated service towards the poor and the marginalized.
