It was beautiful coincidence to celebrate the feast of the Assumption and the Independence Day with the ex Director Rev Fr Joseph Lobo of St. Joseph’s Engineering College who has come down from the United States for a few days.
The Eucharist was celebrated by him together with Fr Rohith and Fr Prakash. Fr. Joseph Lobo helped to reflect on Our Lady’s Magnificat by stressing on the 3 aspects of let it be, let go, and let God in. After the Eucharistic celebration, all proceeded for the hoisting of the flag. 
Mrs. Cheryl Colaco, HOD of EEE Department was the Chief Guest for the function and she spoke about our past, the freedom fighters, the present, what progress India has made today and the future she said is in your hands to take India to greater heights. After the function snacks were distributed to all.
