On 21st November we had a media seminar for our hostel girls. Fr. Francis Rodriguez imparted his knowledge about media. He made them realize about the importance of media by presenting short and sweet video which conveyed valuable message. He said media is a social network which should be controlled by us and we should never be controlled by media. He made them aware that continues addiction to T.V and Internet and other social media cause many kinds of problems like distraction, depression, high level of aggressiveness, less sleeps etc. He said that people have become zombies due to addiction of social media. Human beings have lost their self respect and shame due to change in the fashion world. Media is useful when we use it in a good way so let us use media and have a limit on its usage. He also said they are different factors and ethics which made us convinced and believe in them. It was a wonderful seminar because through which he made the girls aware that how media influences them and they try to live their life according to it.
