AMAR # 886 Art Day at Aux-Velim!

On 30th July and Art Day and Activity Day were conducted at Auxilium Centre, Velim. Ms. Amanda, a college student, who generously taught the remedial class children a different type of art.  The theme given to them was “The Scenario”. The children participated wholeheartedly and were followed by the instructions given it to them. Everyone was co-operative and the results were lovely.

AMAR # 885 Aux- Velim celebrates Mother Mazzarello!

On 13th July we, the Salesian Sisters of Auxilium Centre, Velim celebrated the feast of a simple girl of Mornese – our dear Co- foundress St. Maria Domenica Mazzarello. AMAR # 884 NIOS begins at Aux-Velim!

On 5th July we the Sisters of Auxilium Centre, Velim welcomed in our midst our 17 students of NIOS who will be journeying with us during this Academic Year 2019 – 2020. AMAR # 881 Feast of Mother Mazzarello at Shirva!

 On 28th July at 6:15 pm at Auxilium Niwas, Shirva, along with the boarders and hostelites of  St Mary’s College Ladies Hostel, the Sisters,  celebrated  Mother Mazzarello’s feast our Co-foundress. The evening prayer was animated by Sr. Antonette Horta and the hostelites. AMAR # 880 Blessing of the New Tabernacle at Shirva!

On August 1st we celebrated Sr. Sylvia Fernandes’ birthday and blessing of our new tabernacle. In the evening we had the Eucharistic celebration at 4:30 pm. The Eucharist was celebrated by Bishop Dr. Rev. Gerald Issac Lobo and concelebrated by the assistant parish priest Fr. Ashwin from Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva.  After Mass, the Bishop blessed the Tabernacle and placed the Monstrance in the new tabernacle.  

AMAR # 879 Green Day in Maria Vihar, Nashik!

On 28th July the tiny tots of Maria Vihar nursery celebrated the environment day in the morning. To mark this day, all the kids and teachers came with a green outfit and brought a sapling with them. AMAR # 878  Traffic awareness at Aux - Baroda!

On 24th July 2019 Mr. Gohil Sagar, from the RTO through a PPT and video animations spoke to the students from Class IX to XII about traffic rules and regulations. He explained in detail the effect of not following the traffic rules and rash driving results in accidents and loss of life. AMAR # 877 English Elocution Competition at Aux-Lonavla!

The Secondary section held their English elocution competition on 23rd July. Std V, VI and VII had two participants per division where they recited poems. Std. VIII, IX, and X delivered speeches on the lives of saints. There were 20 students who delivered speeches. They spoke about saints of India as well as other countries. Three judges were invited to choose the best elocutionists.  The students performed well with confidence
