Communication Day celebrated at Maria Vihar
(Sr. Raxella Kharja) Maria Vihar, Nashik had the celebration of Communication Day for the Hostel girls & boarders on 14th of December . Prior to this celebration a video was shown in order to make them understand how Media is affecting our life. Then the topic was given to prepare movies on uses & abuses of Media . On 14th of December at 8.30pm we began our programme. Fr. Robert was called to judge their movies and the charts.
Hostel girls were divided in six groups. They prepared lovely & educational movies and the PPT presentation & the boarders prepared informative charts, explaining the smart uses of media & the bad effects of media in our life. We ended the programme with Fr.Robert Pen ‘s PPT Presentation after which he announced the winners.
Hostel Gratitude Day & Christmas Celebration
On 19th December our hostel girls had the Gratitude day celebration & the Christmas party. They presented gifts, cards & lovely performances to the sisters . They also took the opportunity to thank each other. The Girls presented the Christmas tableau & prepared lovely crib in the Hostel. We ended the programme with the Christmas message Carol singing and Dance. Christmas cake was served to all.
Christmas Day Celebration – Sharing Joy of Christmas
The tiny tots of Maria Vihar celebrated the Christmas on 19th December. The Teachers trained the children to put up a lovely Christmas tableau. The parents were invited for the celebration. They enjoyed the little once acting. The parents of the children gave grains & other gifts to share with the poor. Sr. Shaila gave the Christmas message & we concluded the programme by distributing the Christmas gifts.
