Celebrate the Joy of Christmas!

Christmas is LOVE, come – alive in action. The students of Auxilium Wadala were enthused in imparting the spirit of Christmas. The Christmas symposium on 22nd December commenced with a short prayer moment bringing home the message that Jesus comes to us in our lives, our families and our communities calling us to hearken to the call to be like Him. A Christmas address was read out to both Rev.Sr.Agatha Dias and the Principal Sr. Nora presenting them with a floral tribute and sweets .Then followed a heart touching skit where in we are called to welcome all in the circle of our love especially the despised, those marginalized and the poor. This was presented with numerous carol sung melodiously bringing the birth of Jesus alive. A Christmas Polka dance was beautifully presented which brought a lot of cheer. “Christmas:  A Season for Giving”,  thus we are invited to share our joys and the little we have with all whom we encounter for that brings the birth of Christ alive and spreads joy, was the message given by Superior Rev.Sr.Agatha.

??????????Later the programme concluded with vote of thanks and appreciation. The children were given Christmas gifts and chocolates too.The School staff along with the Sisters of the community too had a get together for this occasion. The primary and the secondary teachers wished Superior .Rev.Sr.Agatha and the Principal Sr. Nora for Christmas expressed with words and flowers. There were singing of the carols and Christmas games organized by Sr. Agatha which brought a lot of cheer, fun and laughter. There was presenting of Christmas gifts to our Christmas Friends and then enjoying the Christmas sweets prepared by the Sisters. Later a Christmas gift and the School magazine too was  was given by the Management .Thus the day concluded with good wishes ,  lot of good cheer and expression of thanks from the staff.

 

Bringing Alive the Family Farming

 The International Year -2014 “The Year of Family Farming” was the theme of the Annual Day for Auxilium Wadala. One would be wonder struck to see the creative backdrop depicting the theme. The Programme was held both for the Primary and the Secondary Sections separately. The Chief guest for this function was our Silver Jubilarian Teacher –Vivita Mascarenhas along with our ex-student Ishita Jovan Putra who stood first in the boards- 2014 .The programme  began with a prayer dance all offering worship and adoration to the Eternal God. Thus followed the welcome of Rev.Sr.Agatha our Superior, Sr.Nora our Principal along with the Chief guests. The school report was read by the students along with the Principal, wherein the goals and all the activities of the students were presented to the gathering. There was the presentation of the students in dance and expression from primary and the secondary sections all portraying the family farming in different situations and the conditions of marine life along with the modernization that affects us. The Youth Pastoral Project of the school too was very creatively presented in dance-Love never ends.

The students both from the primary and the secondary too were awarded for their DSC_0085 copyacademic performance by Rev.Sr.Agatha, Sr. Nora, Tr. Vivita and the parents Mr and Mrs. Jovan Putra. Tr. Vivita then thanked the Management –Sr.Agatha and the Staff and Ishita too expressed her sincere thanks and gratitude to her Alma Mater and all the teachers who helped her grow as an integral individual. Thus with a creative thanks depicting the farming family the students rendered their “Thank you” to all those who made this event a grand success.
