‘Teacher you are a bloom in the school family’ was the beautiful theme on the backdrop which depicted the life of the teachers in Auxilium and it was an apt thought for day’s celebration. It was a great day to all of us who are called to be the educators in one way or the other. We began the celebration at 9.30 am as our students welcomed the teachers in a procession with the ‘kalsha’ and we invoked God’s blessings on each one of us as our students performed the prayer dance. This was followed by various dances and songs and other programmes by the students. Sr. Shanthi Fernandes,the headmistress gave the message to the teachers and to all those gathered with her personal experience of her own dear teacher. Later the students and the teachers danced together on the open ground. 
At 12.30 pm the Std. IXth students conducted creative games for the teachers. It was a lovely sight! Then we shared a fellowship meal with each other. And thanked God for our teachers who selflessly work for the good of our institute and for each student. A salute to all our dear teachers of Auxilium Nandgad!
