Communication has become the centre nerve of the virtual world we live in today, where at the press of a button and at the click of the mouse we are able to hold the world in our hands.51st World Communication Day was celebrated in Pushpanjali Dakor a simple yet meaningful way. The Sunday Adoration was on the theme communication and social media. All the means were displayed along with the theme “Communicating hope and trust in our time”. We reflected on the message of Pope for the world communication Sunday. Due to media everything has been changed, habits, lifestyles, relationships etc. We also prayed for all those who have become victims of Media and facing challenges.
We animated the world communication Day for ITI students and for Boarding children where we learnt how to communicate to oneself, different means of communication were explained ,how is media affecting today, and how we need to communicate to the people around us keeping in mind two things those are-technique and mindset. What do the youth of today think about God, family relationship and lifestyle. Children were enriched also by knowing the facts of using different social networking sites .As we are in this modern era let us reflect whether holding the world in our hands is exciting or frightening. Because though we are able to have access in using various social networking sites any of us still feel such a vacuum in our lives.
