AMAR # 726 Provincial visits Auxilium Baroda

On 15th February 2019, Auxilium Baroda had the honour and privilege of welcoming our dear Provincial Sr. Rita Dora Thomas. She was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers. After which through a short prayer service we implored the blessings of the Almighty.

The students staged a few programmes to welcome her and express their love and gratitude for her constant support and concern for the institution. In her speech, Miss Olivia Macwan spoke about the achievements of the school. The primary students performed an action song and dance on thankfulness and the high school students danced on a value-based song with the theme- ‘kindness’.

After the cultural programme, the Provincial gave an inspiring talk to the students comparing life to a pencil. She added that we should allow ourselves to be guided to bring out the best within us although at times the process may be painful, learn from our mistakes and correct them and always live in such a manner that we leave a mark behind for others to follow.  Sr. Rita Dora concluded by saying that with God’s grace we can rewrite our lives.

Later on the Provincial met the teaching and non-teaching staff. They welcomed her with floral tributes and presented a gift as a token of love. A welcome address was presented by one of the staff members. Sr. Rita Dora thanked the teachers for their dedicated service and collaboration. This was followed by an interactive conversation with mothers.

Teachers too thanked the Provincial for her guidance, encouragement and for all the facilities provided to the institution. The meeting ended with a photo session with the Provincial.
