“Value Education- The need of the hour in modern society”.
Auxilium Baroda celebrated the Value Education and Catechetical Day on 7th February 2019. Blessed Laura Vicuna was also honoured on this day. The programme started with an inter-religious prayer moment with readings from the Holy Bible, Bhagavad Gita, the Quran, and the Guru Granth Sahib.
The students of the Primary section performed a skit cum dance on the life of Laura Vicuna. Dances and songs based on different values were put up by the students of both the Primary and the High School. The performances were well presented and everyone enjoyed them. It was an entertaining and inspiring programme depicting the importance of moral values.
At the end, our animator and manager Sr. Rita Lobo addressed us saying that all the good values were beautifully depicted in the form of song and dance and it inspired all of us. She explained to the children that money could buy anything except values. So live up to the values, Auxilium teaches you to be honest citizens of our Motherland. The programme ended on a delightful note.
