The first Virtual Past Pupils meet for the year 2021-22 was held on 20th July at 15:30. The meet began with a short prayer, led by Tr. Veena Barbosa. The Headmistress, Sr. Elizabeth Coelho introduced the new Manager and Animator Sr. Rosy Mascarenhas. Sr. Rosy welcomed the gathering and was happy to see so many past pupils present. On 27th July, in honour of the feast of Sts. Joachim and Anne, our enthusiastic Auxilians kept up the Grandparents’ Day. They decorated their homes, cooked special dishes, spent quality time with their grandparents, gifted them handmade cards and posted the pics of the celebration on the groups. On 26th July the students of Auxilium Community College, Ahmednagar celebrated Grandparents’ Day in honour of Sts. Joachim and Anne. The online celebration began with a short prayer moment. The students thanked their grandparents through song, dance, recitation of poems, speeches and offered them saplings, gifts and bouquets. It was a beautiful celebration. The grandparents were happy and thrilled. It was indeed a rare and a meaningful initiative.
On 26th July, we the Ashish Bhavan community along with our boarders celebrated the Grandparents day with the widows from the Kune village. Nearly 10 of them were present. The day began with short prayer and cultural programme which brought smile on their faces. Then Sr. Reshma Nune, the animator spoke few words to them and we ended with thanks giving and distributed them snacks.
Amidst the silence and vacuum created by the pandemic, Auxilium Carona looked grand at sight. One could hear these melodious words- If you wish to know the secret, what we look so grand a sight. If you wish to know the reason why our hearts and eyes are bright… With these sentiments our eight young and dynamic children came forward to be part of the School cabinet for the year
