AMAR #1038 Third Day of the Provincial Chapter!

The 17th of November witnessed the third day of the Provincial Chapter. Sr. Cecilia Crasta and her group meaningfully led us into prayer to begin the day.

After a short prayer moment by Sr. Jacinta Moisan, the day’s proceedings began with the presentation of the chronicles of the previous day by Sr. Supriya Noronha. We then had the General Assembly during which Sr. Agatha Dias moderated the review and synthesis of question three.

The gathering then broke up into their respective commissions to resynthesize the responses to the next questions. The Eucharist at 12 noon was celebrated by Fr. Anaclete D’Mello, during which he proposed that we review our communities and ask ourselves if our communities are faith-rooted, informed, people-based, and result-oriented, in order to be relevant to the world today.

The Visit to the Blessed Sacrament was animated creatively. The afternoon session witnessed the General Assembly during which Sr. Elizabeth Coelho moderated the reviewed questions after which the commissions returned to their respective spaces to discuss the allotted questions. During the next General Assembly, the questions were discussed with Sr. Caroline Menezes as the moderator.

The assembly had a professionally animated recreation after supper, followed by a creatively presented photo account of the day with a good sprinkle of humour. The good night message was delivered by Sr. Magdeline Sequeira on instructions for self-administered questionnaire for sisters, and with this, the day ended on a happy note.
