Let the little children come to me do not stop them. Children are the stars that light up the sky; they brighten up our homes, nations and indeed the entire world. As Phyllis Dryden says “Life, love, and laughter are the priceless gifts to give our children.”
To appreciate the gift of life of each child, to show our love and to bring joy and laughter to our little ones, we the Auxilium Primary School Carona, the Sisters and teachers gave their best to make this 14 November 2019 a special one.
We began our celebration with a prayer moment on the theme “Children are the rainbow of our lives” wherein the offertory was carried of seven colours of the rainbow, each symbolizing the beautiful qualities of a child. After that, followed two thrilling performances by the teachers. Children were ecstatic to see their teachers on the stage. The atmosphere was filled with elation and laughter and it was double when the chance was given to the children for the common dance and the most desired game ‘housie’ was played with them. In the end, after short thanksgiving snacks were distributed and we ended our celebration.
