On 24th October at Pushpanjali we the Sisters celebrated the feast of Diwali with our boarders. We began the celebration with a prayer moment animated by the children. After the prayer, we had a cultural programme. The children enacted the skit based on the life of Ram and Sita. This skit brought out a meaningful message on how God wins over darkness and brings light of Christ into this world.
In the end, children wished the Sisters ‘Happy Diwali’ by giving Diwali greeting cards. Then Sr. Perpetual Ferrao gave them the Diwali message and wished them a happy time with their family members as they went on home leave.
