The festival of lights was beautifully celebrated at Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralaya ,Pansora on 22nd October. Sr.Anita began with a prayer moment followed by a short skit on the life of Ram and Sita. Then there was an awareness skit that depicted an eco-friendly and enjoyable Diwali. This skit brought home the message of saving the planet earth and providing all with a clean and healthy environment. The short programme concluded with the lighting of lamps all around the campus.
The Auxilium English Medium School too celebrated the festival of Diwali with the School children on 24th October. The programme began with a prayer moment followed by the welcoming of the Chief Guest Mr. Mukeshbhai Patel. He addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of the festival. The students then presented a graceful lamp dance which was followed by the skit portraying the life of Ram and Sita. This was followed by a traditional dance enchanting all those present. Thus the programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
